Suffolk’s chief planning officer has given the planning approval using emergency powers in the abscence of a full planning committee during the coronavirus situation for the winter sports complex at Ipswich. Before the clearance for construction to start the council should agree S106 deal with developer Onslow Suffolk. £500m SnOasis development is to be build on a 350-acre former quarry near Ipswich. The project includes entertainment centre besides the facilities such as retail units, a hotel, hostel and chalets.
