Scotland’s first minister has granted the approval for the construction workers to gradually return to the work. The next phase in Scotland’s lockdown easing will be a ‘soft start’ to the site works only on the projects where physical distancing guidelines are followed. Among the scope of construction work, domestic work is now permitted in Scotland.
Nicola Sturgeon said: “I can confirm today that the construction sector will be able to move to the next step of its restart plan, which is something that was always envisaged as part of phase one of our routemap.”
