Higgins succeeds £22m North West London housing project

Higgins was awarded with the £22m contract by Brent Council, for part of the redevelopment of Stonebridge in North West London. The master plan includes redevelopment at the center of Stonebridge at the Hillside and Milton Avenue sites.

The firm will design and build 73 mixed-tenure new homes along with a retail unit that comprises new public open space linking the two sites. The project includes a series of bridges over the existing canal feeder that runs through the sites.

The site at Hillside will consist of 51 apartments with two blocks and up to seven storeys’ in height with a roof terrace on both blocks. On the other hand, Milton Avenue site will feature a terrace of twenty two, four bedroom, and three storey townhouses.

Managing director of Higgins, Steve Leakey said that “We are very pleased to be part of this exciting masterplan for Stonebridge and work with Brent Council to bring these brand new high quality homes to the area. We look forward to starting on site in the coming months.”
