Kier received development consent for £150m A585 Windy Harbour to Skippool scheme in Lancashire. Kier is going to start the work from the new three-mile dual carriageway bypass which has been schedules for a spring start. The delivery of the project is through Highways England’s six-year £8.7bn Regional Delivery Partnership framework, the project helps in the improvement of safety for pedestrians, equestrians and cyclists around the existing A585.
The project is expected to be completed by summer 2023.
