The firm has secured the contract for a project at Imjin Barracks near Gloucester, along with two additional projects in Bicester, Oxfordshire, and Beacon in Wales. Reports Contract Journal

Valued at a combined £450 million, the work across these three sites includes upgrading accommodation and training facilities for the army.

These contracts were awarded under the Defence Estate Optimisation Army Programme by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation.

This news is a boost for the firm, which has been up for sale since the end of May following its Australian parent company’s decision to scale back its overseas operations. Some clients have expressed concerns about engaging Lendlease for projects given the current uncertainty surrounding its future.
