A £250m wellbeing resort will be constructed in Manchester starting from next year. Therme Group is set to start construction with tenders to be invited shortly for the 28-acre site. The developer also strategizes plans for similar schemes in three more UK cities. The concept will be later open to 3 city-centre sites in Wales, London, and Scotland.
The new wellbeing centres combine sustainable technology, nature, and culture. This offers a fun and relaxing experience and also designed to focus on physical and mental health for visitors. The guests visiting the resorts can experience thermal bathing traditions. Those travelling from around the world can also witness a biodiverse natural environment with wellbeing therapies.
Therme Group has opened a resort in 2016 which is learnt to be the latest, in Bucharest. The resort notes a figure of 1.3 million visitors per year. Now, the firm keeps an eye on international development programmes to develop business in the UK.
