Plans developed for 18-storey Sheffield tower

KMRE Group, which is known as the Leeds construction developer, has designed plans for an 18-storey student rooms tower block in Sheffield city centre. This St Mary’s Gate project has been designed by Coda Architecture and will fit 300 students for accommodation.

Bushbury House which is currently present in the planned site will be demolished. Bushbury House is a 1960s three-storey office building. The new building which comes in place will be next to the neighboring New Era Square building, which has small mass and scale.

The New Era Square building is made of metal cladding while a brick envelope will be used to build the new St Mary’s Gate student block.
