Graham Construction was awarded a £26m design and build contract of Poynton relief road by Cheshire East Council, which includes a 3km single carriageway between A523 London Road and A6 Manchester Airport relief road. The project is set to start by May 2020. This construction time span would be around 14 months as per the reports.
