Willmott Dixon has shifted the building services package to SES Engineering Services. The construction of new offices for Humberside police by SES will allow supply and install electrical, mechanical, and plumbing services.
This project estimated with £20m near Hull will be molded as a police operational support building on the Melton West business park. In recent years, Willmott Dixon has handed this as the seventh blue-light subcontract to SES, part of Wates Group.
Architect Bond Bryan has designed the three-storey building which is called Melton 2. This building provides an additional 9,500 sqm alongside an existing police building, called Melton 1. SES is set to start on site imminently and complete its programme of works in 36 weeks.
The building has been designed to be energy efficient, with a high-performance envelope, air-source heat pumps for space heating and hot water, mechanical ventilation, thermal heat recovery and solar panels.
