Skanska and IKEA gets approval for Bristol homes

BoKlok to construct 1,000 housing association homes

The BoKlok UK joint venture which is owned by Skanska and IKEA has been given planning aproval for its first housing development project in Bristol. The scheme will include 173 residential homes that will be available for market sale besides the support social housing schemes by Bristol City Council and the local housing associations. Construction work will take-off shortly and the BoKlok’s first homes are expected to be completed by 2021.

Graeme Culliton(BoKlok UK Managing Director and Country Manager) has stated that they are delighted that they are able to bring forward their first project in the UK.
