The Sandymoor scheme forms part of the wider regeneration plans for the site located at east of Village Street. Vistry Partnerships with Together Housing will build 235 houses. The construction of the facility to be called Hazlehurst is due to begin soon for Halton Housing.
Halton Housing will own and run the facility once it is complete. A bistro and multi-function room will be included as the specialist apartments will feature a range of contemporary facilities. Terms have now been agreed and the contracts are set to be signed in the next couple of days.
The two partnered companies will deliver a range of homes under the deal. The project would be split between two, three, and four-bed properties which will be available for open market sale. They can be purchased through Vistry Partnership’s housebuilding arm, Linden Homes.
April 2019 was the initial time when the project went under planning, and later Homes England selected Vistry Partnerships as its preferred delivery partner for the Sandymoor scheme. Homes England has also chose Vistry for three other key sites across the UK.
