Invitations will be sent to the congtractors to prequalify by the end of this month for designing and building a new £200m Moorfields eye hospital in London. The project of 39,500m² is to be built near King’s Cross, this project is known as project Oriel. The new hospital designs are produced by Aecom, Penoyre & Prasad and White Atkitekter, the final approvals on the plans will be reviewd or approved in 2021/2022. If the things go according to the plan, the new hospital will be open to the patients in 2025/26.
