Bouygues to start fourth Tower Hamlets housing works

London Borough of Tower Hamlets has shortlisted Bouygues UK to deliver the fourth phase of a £37.1m project. The works will be starting for delivery of 94 council homes for Locksley D construction.

This is an £8.4m contract to build an eight-storey block of 17 flats for affordable housing. Limehouse Triangle is the name of the site which is a previously unused patch of land. Construction work on site is expected to begin in March 2021.

The completion of the project is anticipated for November 2022. This fourth new-build affordable housing development by Bouygues UK is to build for Tower Hamlets, with the previous three sites, Locksley A, Jubilee Street and Baroness Road, completed and occupied.

Bouygues UK has completed totalling 94 units previously and is also converting the former Royal London Hospital site in Whitechapel into the council’s new town hall.
