Crossrail is not going to open in 2020, as the costs have again risen by up to £650m. Project bosses have stated that they are striving hard to make it open as soon as possible in 2021. Transport of London has confirmed that the accurate timetable will be given in the early days of 2020. December 2018 was the original target set for Crossrail actually but it has been delayed multiple times.
