Gleeson Homes has acquired planning permission for building 237 homes in Louth, Lincolnshire. Gleeson has agreed to pay more than £1m to good causes, in exchange for planning permission.
Gleeson has agreed to spend £150,000 to the NHS, and £844,070 for local education and £150,000 to fund a new bus service. It is also paying £5,000 towards travel planning and £5,000 towards traffic regulation orders.
A 25-acre plot will be occupied with the development works in Brackenborough Road, Louth. There will be traditionally-built homes which are affordable having 2, 3 and 4 bedroom semi and detached homes. The construction will start in summer 2021 and expected to open in February 2022.
