Kier succeeds Marylebone Square new-build worth £106m

Kier is appointed to deliver the £106m Marylebone Square mixed-use scheme. The property developer Concord London has confirmed the appointment of the firm to construct a nine-storey, 25,160 sq m building.

The construction will replace the former Moxon Street carpark on site.  Simon Bowden Architecture has designed the plan “in the style of a contemporary interpretation of a classic London mansion block that seamlessly blends into its historic surroundings.”

The construction will have cast aluminium balustrading, bespoke ceramic cladding, and feature frieze detailing. The building will have five residential floors above ground floor with 79 apartments.

The three-storey basement will include retail, restaurant and community facilities along with a community hall which will be used for farmers’ market during Sundays. Besides, the lowest basement level will include plant space and parking for residents.

The plan with B1 level is to provide public parking. The project is scheduled to complete in summer 2023.
