Mace has joined the list of contractors who has disclosed their redundancy plans due to the impact of coronavirus on market. Mace has unveiled its plans to axe around 300 staff. The contractor has recently edeployed around 150 staff as it has expected downturn in work expecially at its airports business. Mark Reynolds(Mace CEO) has stated that a significant number of projects are getting cancelled for the foreseeable future and also mentioned that the reducing the staff is one of the hardest decisions ever taken as a leadership team.
