Moda Living can now go ahead to transform Great Charles Street in Birmingham into a high-rise residential-led neighborhood. The build to rent specialist is currently in negotiations with several contractors to build the £260m Jewellery Quarter high-rise building complex.
This Birmingham tower construction by the developer will provide 722 homes for rent. It’s been over 70 years since any development in the site area took place and Birmingham City Council is trying to regenerate the area for a long time now.
Coronavirus pandemic was put behind and commitment to building a second major scheme in the city is on the scene, said Moda. A 39-storey building at the corner of Great Charles Street and Livery Street is on the planning criteria.
