TIGER(Tidal Stream Industry Energiser Project) €47m worth project in which 69% of amount comes from the European Regional Development Fund. This project comes under the funding category for low carbon technologies of the Programme, with Norfolk County Council as Managing Authority & which is a collaborative project between organizations in the south of the UK and north of France. TIGER aims to growth of tidal stream energy by installing 8 MW of new tidal capacity in Channel region.
