Travis Perkins is the UK’s biggest builders merchant, it has conveyed its decision to reopen more branches to support the large contractors who are restarting their construction sites.
Travis Perkins has started an initiative called “service light” since the lockdown was imposed, under this model the firm’s one third of branches will be working to support the essential projects like Nightingale hospitals.
Travis Perkins has also confirmed that they have been “working closely with customers, suppliers, trade bodies and the UK Government” to maintain safety and social distancing protocals which are followed by the construction industry across the country.
