Willmott Dixon to deliver £65m Peterborough housing scheme

Willmott Dixon was shortlisted by Hounslow Council to take up the construction works of a £31.8m housing complex. The works will be carried out for 102 units to build two eight-storey residential tower blocks, a four-storey block of flats and seven mews houses.

The project will involve construction of a Frank Towell Court along with a mix of houses, apartments, and maisonettes, with the location in Feltham, West London. Photovoltaic panels will be fitted to the roof of each building to generate renewable energy.

The construction will also include a landscaping design that incorporates rain gardens for irrigation.  The council has clearly specified the provision of bird, bat and hedgehog boxes, as well as a bee/bird bath.

Willmott Dixon has accomplished a Bristol Court construction in 2019, a £26m retirement complex with 94 homes.  It also has another large council housing scheme nearby, building 112 units at 300 Harrow Road by 2023. However, it is for Westminster City Council.

This Hounslow project by Willmott Dixon is the second housing scheme for the London Borough of Hounslow recently.
