John F Hunt to start demolition works for Westminster estate

John F Hunt which is the demolitions contractor is starting with the first phase of the demolition works for the Ebury Bridge housing estate which costs £13m. The company will take over these works in West London as the Pimlico 1930s housing estate will soon be demolished.

The first phase of works is covered with approximately £4m while the second phase will take part later. A total of £13m for eight blocks is dedicated in this demolition project. Once the demolition works are accomplished, Bouygues will take on the next construction works.

The construction company Bouygues will work on the new housing scheme worth £350m. This construction project will take place under Chelsea Barracks residential scheme. Up on the approval plan, the company from next year will start building 758 energy-efficient homes that include at least 386 affordable homes.
