Liverpool is looking for around £1.4bn investments from the central government. This scheme will help for construction on 40 shovel ready sites, as the investments pour into the project. Approximately 40 fully-coast sites will drive in shovel-ready schemes along with medium and long-term projects that include the Mersey Tidal Power scheme.

The Metro Mayor of the Liverpool City Region, Steve Rotheram has talked about the Building Back Better recovery plan. This scheme is expected to attract investments over the next one year, with a total of £8.8 billion for construction of different projects. A round figure of 28,000 jobs would be created under this multiple projects scheme.
