The key integration partner role will be picked as Highways England will start the search next week for the £6.8bn Lower Thames Crossing tunnel project. The process of procurement was on hold due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
After around a month and half, there’s an online briefing session taking place on 9 July about the role. In this session, the integration partner will deliver project and programme management services. Alongside interfaces management will be on the three main works contracts.
Highways England is now looking into a key integration partner role to implement the plans for the project. It also stated that it had some negative issues while undergoing the Thames Tideway and Crossrail projects.
The integration partner under a £242m contract would support the successful integration of the project. The project comprises three main works contracts that would be accomplished by the accompanying parties.
