Wates is the strong contender for winning the new £120m Life and Mind Building job for the Oxford University. Thea ctual plan is to replace the Tinbergen Building which will make it the largest construction project undertaken by the University. As per the reports, Wates has fought off the competition from Laing O’Rourke and BAM to grab the deal. The new building will become the Department of Experimental Psychology and a new Department of Biology. The main construction work is scheduled to start from next June.
